The Clinical Pharmacist reports directly to and assists the Director of Pharmacy with all applicable pharmacy programs. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, reporting, and making rec! ommendations to the facility Medical Staff on formulary management and drug utilization programs. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing drug therapies for appropriateness and cost saving opportunities. The Clinical Pharmacist will provide educational expertise and support to other departments within the company when required to meet the goals of the organization.
Requirements
Formal Education : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : 6 months
License, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement : Yes

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy Degree
Experience Requirements

Recent and relevant hospital pharmacy clinical experience
*
Licensed Pharmacist in the state of employment
Skill Requirements

Demonstrated clinical knowledge and effective clinical pharmacy skills.

Proficient with pharmacy computer programs w! ith ability to learn new programs efficiently

Abilit! y to research and provide information
*
Ability to manage multiple projects and issues concurrently

Excellent oral / written communication skills and ability to prioritize and coordinate clinical workload
