The Clinical Pharmacist reports directly to and assists the Director of Pharmacy with all applicable pharmacy programs. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for monitoring, reviewing, reporting, and making recommendati! ons to the facility Medical Staff on formulary management and drug utilization programs. The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for reviewing drug therapies for appropriateness and cost saving opportunities. The Clinical Pharmacist will provide educational expertise and support to other departments within the company when required to meet the goals of the organization.

Formal Education : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : 6 months
License, Registration, and / or Certification Requirement : Yes

Recent and relevant hospital pharmacy clinical experience

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of employment

Proficient with pharmacy computer programs with abili! ty to learn new programs efficiently
