Why not join a company where your interests can drive our innovation Growth Performance Success FULFILLED There039s a way As America039s most convenient provider of consumer goods and services and pharmacy health and wellness services Walgreens has something for everyone who wants to build a successful career With over 7500 locations in all 50 states and Puerto Rico were much more than your neighborhood drug store We039re a company of ecommerce professionals analysts nurses pharmacists retail store staff and more who are focused on serving our customers as much as finding better ways to run our business Here you039ll find supportive coworkers an innovative environment and the tools you need to grow your skills help build healthy communities and advance your career Job Summary Responsible for maintaining analyzing troubleshooting installing and repairing computer systems electronic equipment hardware and computer peripherals and networking products in Walgreens facilities Works under immediate supervision Job Responsibilities Installs and repairs equipment and computer systems in new and remodeled Walgreens facilities Performs maintenance on electronic equipment at file locations applying basic repair techniques and relying on service manual instructions and preestablished guidelines to perform repairs Analyzes and troubleshoots electronic equipment computer systems hardware and computer peripherals and networking products to determine the root cause and to followup with the appropriate repair Responds to request for emergency repairs and follows through with timely service Ensures the completion of associated paperwork and records including trouble tickets mileage logs and time logs Initiates requests for required equipment parts and supplies Participates in entrylevel training program including orientation to computer peripherals used at Walgreens Maintains care and appearance of work stations and Company vehicles and equipment Develops good working relationships with repair team employees Performs general bench work inshop to include assisting with more complex repairs and completing basic repairs as required Basic Qualifications Interests Associates Degree in Electronic Repair OR a High School DiplomaGED and at least 4 years of experience in field service and bench repair Available to work rotating weekends after hours and holidays to accommodate oncall responsibilities Willing to travel up to 30 of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state) Preferred Qualifications Interests (PQIs) Experience in an electronic repair specialty within the US Armed forces Experience with a company with sales in excess of 1 billion
