OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively manages a territory by selling and promoting
key products and builds strong rapport wi! th key approved
targeted customers (physicians, nurses, nurse
practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists) in
approved targeted markets. Responsible for developing
and implementing long and short term business plans for
the territory, analyzing trends to identify
opportunities, and leveraging approved resources to
maximize business in the territory. Develop long term
relationships and conduct on-label calls on health care
providers.

industry, and pharmaceutical regulations & guidelines.
- Attend trade and organizational meetings.

Job Requirements:
ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 4 year college degree. Minimum
of 2 years proven successful pharmaceuticals sales
experience or comparable healthcare experience. Good
written and verbal communication skills, including
public speaking; ability to establish and maintain
internal and external working relationships.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
SCOPE
JUDGMENT / DECISION MAKING: Operates under general
direction as to broad assignments with periodic review
of assignments. Duties performed within a framework of departmental or functional protocol requiring a high
degree of o! riginal thinking. As a highly skilled
representative, contributes to the development of
concepts and techniques. Completes complex tasks in
creative and effective ways.
COMPLIANCE: Conducts business throughout the year in a
manner that is consistent and compliant with the
policies, and guidelines of Noven as well as federal and
state regulations. This includes the ethical promotion
of products within approved labeling as well as the
regulated distribution of product samples.
FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for managing
expenses within departmental budget, revenue generation
and samples within assigned thresholds.
RESPONSIBILITIES FOR CONTACTS: Internal and external
contact requiring a high degree of resourcefulness and
tact.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Individual contributor with
full employment relationship with departmental staff,
including top management.
WORKING! CONDITIONS
ENVIRONMENT: Majority of time spent in the field
covering designated geographical territory and calling
on specified group of healthcare professionals and
targeted customers.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regular driving to specific
destinations while carrying of sales material and
samples. Ability to receive samples and material
(marketing) of up to 25 lbs.
OTHER: Overnight travel is required dependent on
territory geography and for sales and training meetings.
Geographical territories are at discretion of Noven and
are subject to change. Driving with a valid driver’s
license, automobile insurance and a safe driving record
is required, must be maintained and will be verified on
a regular basis.
