Description: As a staff pharmacist at DeSoto Regional Health System, you will fill orders with accuracy; mix chemo, check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
This is a regularly scheduled DAY SHIFT position working every other Friday 8:30am-4:30pm & Sunday 11:30a-.4:30pm (same weekend) and infrequent on call (not regularly scheduled, only as back up to on call person).
Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD)
- Current LA pharmacist license in good standing
- Chemo experience desir! ed
