DOP- Director of Pharmacy
Location: New Iberia, Louisiana
Description: ABPS (American Business Personnel Services, Inc.) is presently looking of DOP- Director of Pharmacy right now, this job will be presented in Louisiana. For complete informations about this job opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. This position is responsible for all aspects of pharmacy services. Responsibilities include purchasing, distribution/dispensing, accountabili! ty of charges, personnel management, and dissemination of information to pharmacy, nursing, medical staffs, and financial management of the department.
Education:
Doctorate of Pharmacy
Experience:
Registered pharmacist for at least seven years.
Prefer at least five years supervisory/management experience as either a director, assistant director, or supervisor of pharmacy in an acute care hospital.
Hospital pharmacy management residency or five years experience.
License/certification:
Current state licensed or eligible.
Other Skills / Abililities:
Specialized knowledge: computers (spreadsheets, word processors, data bases, and pharmacy operation systems-Meditech) applications and advanced management techniques.
