Description Duties: Responsible for compounding and dispensing medications to inpatients and outpatients being alert for any improper dosages, therapeutic, and physical incompatibilities, and drug interactions, and inform the prescriber when necessary. The pharmacist functions as a must be able to perform the following duties: medication order processing and evaluating new orders, narcotic dispensing, IV compounding, and problem resolution with nursing and medical staff.
