HR Assistant Responsibilities Assisting with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies) Responsibilities Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks, including managing employee records, filing documents, and organizing HR-related paperwork. Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing employment contracts and facilitating orientation programs. Employee Relations: Support employee relations initiatives by maintaining employee records, responding to inquiries, and addressing employee concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner. HR Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Help educate employees about HR policies and promote a positive work environment. Benefits and Compensation: Assist in managing employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies. Collaborate with payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation. HR Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data and records, both in physical and digital formats. Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed. Compliance: Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations in Malaysia to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements. Assist in monitoring compliance with company policies and procedures. Confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times. Support to HR Manager: Provide administrative and operational support to the HR Manager or HR team as required.
