Job Description
Primary Function of Position:

We are searching for a self-motivated senior researcher to join our Applied-Research team in projects focused on Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Image/Video Analytics. In that role you will contribute to new technology development in 3D scene, understand/reconstruct and spatial AI systems for next generation robotic surgery platforms. This role is an exciting opportunity to test your knowledge and abilities in a challenging problem-solving environment.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Contribute to research projects that develop a variety of algorithms and systems in computer vision and machine learning.
- Participate in integration of new ML/CV algorithms into existing and future robotic platforms.
- Participate in the development of dense 3D reconstruction systems based on multi-view image sensors. This includes implementation, optimization, and development of image-processing algorithm code in C++.
- Contribute to building new clinical datasets and data pipelines.
- Support academic collaborations in related field.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- MSc/PhD in computer science, Electrical engineering, Physics, or related fields working in the fields of machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, medical imaging
- Deep academical understanding in: Classic computer vision, Statistics, Linear algebra
- 5+ years of experience designing and implementing solutions for computer vision and deep learning applications.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on in C++ and Python
- Problem solver – Ability to break down large problems into small incremental steps.
- Self-learner – Ability to learn new ML concepts and technologies and apply them.
- Team player
