Handles provider phone calls regarding pharmacy claims processing in a call center setting. Satisfactorily resolve calls within expected response time standards. Supports ! all functions involved in either the LockIn (LI) or retrospective Drug Utilization Review (DUR) programs as requested.

Essential Functions
o Handles inbound pharmacy call volume.
o Responds to incoming calls mainly from providers, as required to meet departmental goals.
o Explains Point of Sale (POS) claims adjudication, state Medicaid policy/guidelines, and any other necessary information to providers, in a clear, precise, and professional manner.
o Records calls accurately in call tracking system.
o Maintains specific quality and quantity standards.
o Assists with process tasks & activities.
o Assists with clerical support services/tasks as delegated.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
o Ability to work with supervision
o Ability to work as a team player
o Knowledge of pharmacy/medical terminology
o Excellent organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
o Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
o Abi! lity to multi task in a high paced environment
o Ability t! o abide by Molina policies
o Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work
o Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
o Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members,
providers and customers

Required Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED

Required Experience:
1-2 years Medicaid experience in a community pharmacy

Required Licensure/Certification:
Current Pharmacist Technician license

Preferred Education:
N/A

Preferred Experience:
Medicaid pharmacy policy
Pharmacy POS claim processing

Preferred Licensure/Certification:
N/A
