Staff Pharmacist

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

Description: Comprehensive Pharmacy Services is in need of Staff Pharmacist right now, this position will be ordered in Louisiana. As a Staff Pharmacist at St. Charles Surgical Hospital, you will provide support for clinical programs and practices within the hospital as well as fill orders with accuracy; maint! ain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

This position is scheduled approximately 20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling based upon the surgery volume and patient census. The primary schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week from 11:30a to 6pm (with some flexibility).

Qualifications:

• Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy
• Current LA license in good standing
• At least 2 years of recent experience in a Long Term Acute Care setting is required
