Meda Pharmaceuticals is currently seeking a Shreveport (Monroe/Alexandria) based Sales Professional for our Core Sales Team. This individual will call on Allergist, Otolaryngologist, Pulmonologist and Primary Care physicians to promote Dymista® Nasal Spray for use in patients with Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis.
Overall Responsibilities:
Establish relationships with targeted physicians, medical staff and medical centers; persuasively challenge status quo habits of targeted customers.
Identify key influencers, plan daily routes and achieve designated call! expectations with a focus on top target customers - demonstrating expert knowledge of the competitive market, competition and individual customers.
Adeptly explain features and benefits of company prescription products, including identifying appropriate patients, proper use, expected efficacy and safety considerations.
Distribute samples of prescription drug products to physicians, ensuring proper care and accounting of the samples.
Call on pharmacists to ensure that they understand product benefits and risks, that products are stocked, and that they know proper functioning of co-pay assistance programs.
Note call details into the sales force automation (SFA) reporting system on daily basis.
Efficiently manage monthly promotional budget, including preparing accurate reports on expenses and items provided to physicians.
Achieve sales success while maintaining a strong foundation of professionalism and integrity in a compliance driven environment
! Be solely responsible for maintaining or growing sales within your terr! itory through consultative selling - assuming responsibility and accountability for success
Attend and actively contribute at District, Regional and National Sales Meetings; participates at trainings, etc.
BA/BS from an accredited institution required; in relevant field preferred
Proven track record of sales effectiveness required; 2 years outside sales experience in quota driven environment preferred
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated high initiative and follow-through
Strong analytic and planning skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); comfort with iPad technology a plus
Valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record
Should reside within the territory
