ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reviews, processes, and dispenses all medication a! nd IV solution orders, ensuring correct dosage and use based on patient age, weight and diagnosis.
Interacts and participates with team members and other health care providers for the provision of safe and cost-effective drug therapy for their assigned patient care teams.
Provides drug information to healthcare professionals.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Pharm. D. or equivalent experience.
Pharmacist licensure in the State of Louisiana is required.
Hospital pharmacy experience is required, oncology experience a plus.
