Monitors policies and procedures to ensure that polices and system requirements comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations.

Monitor statewide facility operations to determine efficiency and effectiveness of services.

Represent the Board in programmatic matters at various federal, state and local hearings, meetings and conferences.

Coordinates with administrative and support sta! ff to improve program development, identify training opportunities, and! provide management and support services required by program staff.

Participates in the coordination and presentation of educational programs to professional individuals; provides information to healthcare professionals, agencies and the public.

Administer statewide programs by formulating and implementing regulations, policies and procedures, and action plans.
